German-born Frank trained as a vet in Berlin. Whilst in Berlin, Frank witnessed the momentous Fall of the Berlin Wall - it was this event that triggered Frank's interest in photography. Shortly after qualifying, Frank moved to the UK, travelling the length and bredth of the country before settling in Wales where he now lives with his partner and an assortment of animals. Frank still practices as a large animal vet as well as a freelance photographer, enjoying, in particular, capturing images of the countryside, people and animal life. He frequently writes for a number of veterinary journals, focusing mainly on issues of veterinary (medical) ethics and animal welfare. |
