Carmen J Smith : 3rd year BA (Hons) Degree in Photography graduating in 2009, at Clevleand College of Art and Design. Watch out for her Exhibition at Association of Photographers Gallery, London in June 2009. Carmen uses both film and digital media to create social documentary, portraiture, and fine art photography. Living on the North Yorkshire Moors, Carmen uses the diversitiy of the area to influence her work and to document the landscape, people and animals therein. Exhibition of Farming Documentary and Sale of landscape and abstract nature will be held at 'The Inspired by Gallery" at the North York Moors National Park Centre, Danby North Yorkshire from 1st-8th July 2009. STREET PHOTOGRAPHY Our "York New Year Eve Project" was a pretty good idea ... (the idea being to portrait the York Club Staff Scene on New Year's Eve.) ... but It sort of prooved impossible, due to the sheer volume of people with most clubs closing their doors early - even to the dudes with the cameras. Thanks again to the Crew at the "Evil Eye" for a fun evening ! No doubt we will be back for some more.! Frank & Carmen |
